Get to Know Me

My name is Sheldin Kretz and i am the owner of Kretz Kustomz LLC, i am a father of 2 amazing children and married to my soulmate. I was born and raised in the pacific north west and as long as i can help it i will spend my final years in the beautiful northern Idaho panhandle. I first started fabricating in high school where I learned the basics for what i do (stick, mig and tig welding). But as all high schoolers do i got bored of it and decided i wanted to be a diesel technician. So after 2 years of schooling i earned a degree in diesel mechanics and dabbled in that for a few years but i soon found out that turning a wrench wasn’t my true calling. After deciding that being a mechanic wasn’t for me i  tried and array of different career paths; heavy equipment operator, tug boat operator/ dock builder on CDA lake, i was even a cashier at the local harbor freight tools in CDA. But i finally came to my senses and decided welding was what i wanted to make a career out of. So my offical start to being a career welder was in 2016 and have loved it ever since. I started my own business in 2019 and am addicted to the freedom of entrepreneurship and the one on one relationship i get to make with the customers i have served and will serve in the future. I strive to give every customer the same quality of work, customer service, satisfaction and respect they deserve no matter if it is a $50 dollar job or $250,000 dollar job. So with that being said, I look forward to talking with you about your dreams and making it a reality in what ever way i can..
